Remember Your wonders of old...
Reflecting on making decisions is not easy… Sometimes we have to stop and REMEMBER!
Psalm 77:12
So I will remind myself of Yah’s doings;
yes, I will remember your wonders of old. (CJB)
In the Passion Translation it says:
I ponder all you’ve done, Lord, musing on all your miracles. (TPT)
Clearly, God takes care of us every step of the way. We may not always like what is happening. We may believe that what He is doing is not fair or right.
When these moments happen, we must STOP and REMEMBER!
Yahweh is our source and when things might seem difficult or hard, we MUST remember HIS wonders and miracles of old. Sometimes the past IS worth thinking about. When we need encouragement HIS miracles of the past are the STRENGTH we need to keep on going.
There is a hymn that says, "Count your blessings. Name them one by one. Count your many blessings see what God has done." I think we need to do this more often! Sing it quietly in your head if you can't sing a loud. Then, DO what it says and count those blessings!
