Lift up your heads!
Today is the first day of the week… For most people this is known as a Sunday. I was led to give thanks. Rejoice. Due to a verse on my BibleApp I went back to the book of Psalm.
Psalm 24:7-8
Lift up your heads, you gates!
Lift them up, everlasting doors,
so that the glorious king can enter!
Who is he, this glorious king?
Adonai, strong and mighty,
Adonai, mighty in battle. (CJB)
Verse 1 of this chapter was what I first read… It left me hanging a little so I kept reading. This whole chapter is encouraging. I will probably write about some of the verses on another day.
In order to GIVE THANKS today, these were the verses I was drawn too.
LIFT UP!
WHO is HE? HE is the GLORIOUS KING!
HE is ADONAI! HE is STRONG and MIGHTY!
ADONAI is MIGHTY in battle.
God alone is worthy of ALL glory. I want to LIFT up my KING and give HIM glory.
I want HIM to open the gates and everlasting doors! I want to FOLLOW HIM wherever HE leads. HE is mighty in battle. HE will fight for me. I want to TRUST Him and let HIM lead.
Today, give your battles to Him. Let HIM fight for you.
