Busy...

Isaiah 26:3-4

“A person whose desire rests on you

you preserve in perfect peace,

because he trusts in you.

Trust in Adonai forever,

because in Yah Adonai,

is a Rock of Ages.”

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm busy. I miss Shabbat a true. I love my Saturdays to enjoy LIFE.

Thankfully, I try to keep a Shabbat of some sort as often as I can. I walk. I sleep in. We make waffles together. In the craziness of life, we still try.

Friends, we live in a world that doesn't stop. It isn't getting easier. It's getting harder. We have to force ourselves to find time to STOP. HE wants time with us. Our bodies NEED to relax.

After watching another church split, I'm in more of the mind set that we need to take care of each other and just "be" together. We need community and that community needs to be there for one another. Hang out and play a game. Enjoy a meal together. Sit outside and have coffee together. It's time to facilitate just learning to "be together."

This is my challenge to myself. Letting go of traditional mindsets and learning to "be" in a relationship. Letting the desire I have for HIM flow through to those around me. Trusting HIM to move through me so I can love those around me.

Traditional Shabbat (Friday to Saturday) is almost over, but mine started this afternoon and will continue until Sunday afternoon. Find a way friends... your minds will need it as the world continues to spin.
