Adonai is GOOD...
My mind was drawn to the book of Lamentations today. I’m not sure why because I often think of it as a “depressing” book of the Bible. It is full of “laments.” However, there are some pretty important promises tucked away in there as well.
Lamentations 3:25-26
Adonai is good to those waiting for him,
to those who are seeking him out.
It is good to wait patiently
for the saving help of Adonai. (CJB)
Adonai is GOOD! I believe I can say AMEN to that.
HE IS good…. To those WAITING for Him. To those who “SEEK HIM out.”
Once again we have something we need to DO! He is a GOOD God, but we must WAIT! We must SEEK!
The next line is a hard one… wait PATIENTLY. Wow… tough. Not easy to do. Many of us have something we are waiting on and being patient is NOT easy.
However, when we WAIT patiently there is SAVING HELP from Adonai. SAVING HELP from our FATHER.
Claim this PROMISE today. KNOW that He is GOOD. Ask HIM what it means to “seek Him” and His desires for you. Love on those around you. Wait patiently for HIS saving help.
