There remains a Shabbat...
Friday has rolled around again. It is time for Shabbat!
Today’s verse is from Hebrews 4:9-10
So there remains a Shabbat-keeping for God’s people. For the one who has entered God’s rest has also rested from his own works, as God did from his. (CJB)
Shabbat and rest is important. This verse tells us that it “remains.”
IF you choose to enter God’s rest, you rest from your own works.
Find a way to stop. Find a way to focus on God. Worship HIM in Spirit and in Truth.
Enjoy your family. Visit a friend. Take a walk.
Just REST.
