Our Father has compassion...
Today is Father’s Day and so I chose to find a verse about fathers.
Psalm 103:13
Just as a father has compassion on his children,
Adonai has compassion on those who fear him. (CJB)
As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. (ESV)
Claim the FACT that you have a FATHER who loves YOU. Look UP. HE is your Redeemer.
I had a great father growing up. He loved me. He took care of my needs.
So many people today do not have a father who is there for them. So many have a father who is gone, hurts them, causes problems, bring pain into the household. When this happens, then it is easy to forget that there is SOMEONE who does care. There is a person, that we cannot see, who does love us.
This week I keep hearing the words, “look up.” I know this means that we cannot rely on man, we MUST rely on God. HE is the ONE who will lead us and guide us. HE is the One who will watch over and protect us.
Man will fail us. God will NOT fail us.
This verse does tell us that we must fear Him. We must hold Him in high esteem. When we do this, THEN He will have compassion.
Believe today that you have SOMEONE that is there for you. No matter what you face, God is a Father that WILL take care of you.
