A Living HOPE...
The word HOPE came to my mind today when I began to think about a verse. This one from I Peter showed up when I Googled possible verses.
I Peter 1:3-4
Praised be God, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who, in keeping with his great mercy, has caused us, through the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah from the dead, to be born again to a living hope, to an inheritance that cannot decay, spoil or fade, kept safe for you in heaven. (CJB)
Do you have HOPE? Do you know how to have HOPE?
This verse says that because we have Jesus the Messiah, we have been born again to a LIVING HOPE.
We have an INHERITANCE that cannot decay. We have an inheritance that will NOT spoil or fade.
Our INHERITANCE is SAFE in Heaven!
Why did God do this? HIS GREAT MERCY!
Are you giving HIM praise? HE is YOUR FATHER! HE caused the resurrection of Jesus which is our HOPE.
I think these verses give us the PROMISES we need for HOPE. If we did not have the Father, who sent His Son, who resurrected - we could say we have no hope.
BUT GOD, in HIS great mercy, said we have been BORN AGAIN to a LIVING HOPE!
Claim your HOPE today. BELIEVE that HE is Who HE says.
